Vitaly dressed as a ghost

We were in California for Halloween. It was much better than being in Montana. At home, the houses are far away from each other and Mommy and Daddy said that there has never been a single trick or treater at our house in the 12 years they’ve lived there. So we drive into town to do our trick or treating. But at Grandpa and Grandma Sandy’s, the whole house was decorated – inside and out. There were pumpkins and scarecrows everywhere. We even drank out of pumpkin mugs while we were there.

On the night before Halloween, we went to a party where Grandma Sandy works. They had dinner and some games and we got to meet a lot of the people Grandma works with, only we wouldn’t recognize them again because they were all in costume that night. Grandma Sandy got second prize in the costume contest. She was really ugly. I can say that because she was trying to be ugly. Grandma Sandy dressed as a witch.

T-Rex (Nikolai) On Halloween night, Uncle Donnie brought over lots of fun gadgets to make the house more spooky. He had one light machine that shined images on the house and another that shined a red design on the trick or treaters. He also brought a fog machine and two black lights and there were tombstones and skeletons and cobwebs all over the yard. It was totally awesome.

We were able to go trick or treating right in Grandpa and Grandma Sandy’s neighborhood and there were lots and lots of other kids around too. We scared them all with our costumes. I was a dinosaur, a T-Rex, and I roared at everyone. Vitaly was a ghost and he kept saying t~r~i~c~k or t~r~e~a~t, just like a ghost would say it. We had so much fun!!!

Roast at 350 degrees for 6 hours

Yeah, RIGHT!! Our baby’s growing up and he feasted on corn for Thanksgiving. Remember, we weren’t sure whether he was a hen or a tom? Well, he’s all TOM. The horses are actually afraid of him. But not us. He’s really nice. He use to fit on our hand and now Mommy can’t even pick him up. Of course, she’s tried.
There are four ages of man:

1.) When you believe in Santa Claus.
2.) When you don’t believe in Santa Claus.
3.) When you are Santa Claus.
4.) When you look like Santa Claus.
